Department of Chemistry Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has adequate facilities and infrastucture to organize activities for Chemistry Bachelor candidates. These facilities are:

1. E-learning

Some courses are implementing blended learning strategies. The university provided this programm through http://besmart.uny.ac.id

2. Laboratory

The laboratory in Department of Chemistry Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta consists of 7 laboratories, i.e. General Chemistry Laboratory, Organic and Biochemistry Laboratory, Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Research Laboratory, Instrumental Laboratory and Sciences Integrated Laboratory.

3. Library

Students are facilitated with libraries, which are Digital Library, UNY Library, and also Faculty Library.

4. Academic Guidance

There are consultation and advisory facilities to support student academic achievement in the form of academic guidance conducted by academic advisors. Academic advisor provides an opportunity for students to consult an academic problems that are difficult to be solved independently by student. Academic advisors try to find solutions to the students' problem.

Furthermore, the students who take a thesis will be guided by one lecturer. The thesis suppervisor is tasked to help students in completing their chemistry research as a finaal project. Thesis guidance can also be done online through http://bimbingan.uny.ac.id. The existence of an online guidance will make it easier for students to consult their thesis flexibly.

5. Student Mobility

Department of Chemistry provides student mobility programme. This programme consists of 2 types, which are credit tansfer (student exchange) programme and student internship programme.
