Sad news came from the big family of the Department of Chemistry Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY on the passing of Mr. Dr.rer.nat Senam, M.Sc. who died at 54 years old on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the UGM Academic Hospital (RSA), Yogyakarta Special Region. On Monday, August 30, 2021 the Chemistry study program, FMIPA, UNY held an Indonesian Journal of Chemistry and Environment (IJoCE) Mentoring Workshop. IJoCE is a scientific journal published under the Chemistry study program, FMIPA UNY. This workshop activity aims to improve the quality of IJoCE and is targeted to be indexed by SINTA. This workshop activity presented Mrs. Endah Retnowati, Ph.D. who is the coordinator of the journal FMIPA UNY as well as managing editor of the Journal of Cakrawala Pendidikan (indexed by Scopus Q3).

Chemistry Study Program FMIPA UNY held Industrial Synergy #2 activity on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. This activity was carried out as part of the Industrial Internship sub-activity of the Independent Campus Competition Program for Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA UNY.
