The Chemistry Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY, Achieved Very Satisfactory Results in the 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) Visitation.

Yogyakarta, August 26, 2025 — The Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Yogyakarta State University (UNY), once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of education by conducting an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) Visitation in 2025. This activity is part of the university's routine internal quality assurance cycle to ensure the achievement of academic and non-academic quality standards.

The audit was conducted based on nine main criteria:

  1. Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategy Governance,

  2. Management, and Collaboration

  3. Students

  4. Human Resources Finance

  5. Facilities, and Infrastructure

  6. Education

  7. Research

  8. Community Service

  9. Outputs and Achievements of the Tridharma

The audit results showed very satisfactory performance. Criteria 1 through 7 received the maximum score of 4.00, reflecting superior performance and implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in accordance with UNY quality standards. However, two criteria received slightly below the maximum score:

  • Community Service (Score: 3.98)
  • Tridharma Outputs and Achievements (Score: 3.98)

Although the score difference was very small, the auditors provided important notes for future improvement, particularly regarding:

Measurement of Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), which needs to be conducted in a more detailed and structured manner.

The audit team emphasized the importance of systematically tracking CPMK achievement as part of learning evaluation and improving graduate quality.

The Coordinator of the Chemistry Study Program and Head of the Chemistry Education Department, Dr. Retno Arianingrum, M.Si., expressed her appreciation for the collaboration of all lecturers, educational staff, and students in making this audit a success.

"This achievement motivates us to continuously improve the quality of our study program, especially in terms of community service reporting and improving the outcomes of the Tridharma (Three Pillars of Excellence)," she said.

This AMI visit is expected to be a strategic step in preparing for future external accreditation and demonstrates the commitment of the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY, to upholding a culture of quality in higher education.
