The Department of Chemistry Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Yogyakarta State University (UNY), held its regular family gathering on Saturday, February 8, 2026. Active lecturers, retired lecturers, and administrative staff from the Department of Chemistry Education participated in the event.

The event, held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, aimed to strengthen ties among department members and provide a moment for reflection and togetherness amidst the dynamics of academic activities.

The gathering was enlivened by a singing session, which fostered camaraderie and a sense of togetherness. All participants enjoyed the provided refreshments, creating a relaxed and humorous atmosphere.

On this occasion, the Department of Chemistry Education also welcomed a new lecturer, Ms. Sri Sudewi. Her presence is expected to strengthen the academic ranks and make a positive contribution to the development of education and research within the department.

Furthermore, exciting news was also shared at the event. One of the lecturers from the Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA UNY, Prof. Dr. Cahyorini Kusumawardani, has officially received the highest academic position, Professor. This achievement is a source of shared pride and a testament to the academic community's commitment to improving the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
