On Saturday, 1 October 2022, the Department of Chemistry Education FMIPA State University of Yogyakarta (UNY) held an alumni gathering for the 66th Anniversary of the Department of Chemistry Education. The event was joined by lecturers, education staff, and 113 alumni of the Department of Chemical Education spread from various generations, starting from the class of 1977 to 2017.

The alumni gathering began with a healthy walk around the campus of Yogyakarta State University, followed by alumni talk, door prize giveaways, entertainment, and filling out the tracer study questionnaire. The participants of this alumni gathering were enthusiastic as they could meet with lecturers and old friends to establish friendship. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can improve the relationship between the staff and lecturers of the Chemistry Education Department of FMIPA UNY and its alumni.
