On Friday, August 28, 2020, the Chemistry Education Department held a Chemistry Education Department Minute of Meeting with the theme Voicing Aspirations for a Competing Chemistry Education Department. This event is one of the work programs of the social department of the chemistry student association of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, which is routinely held once a year. At the event, students majoring in chemistry education could voice their aspirations towards the management of the department and all lecturers in the department of chemistry education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY.

The minute of meeting program was carried out in an online mode given the situation of the corona outbreak. The topics discussed at the this event included everything related to the technique of taking the advocacy questionnaire that was sought to be more optimal, the respondents who filled out the questionnaire, and the criticisms made had to be aspirated in more detail so that it was clear which parts needed to be improved and improved. That is, one of the hot topics to discuss is concerning online learning. Even though it is not yet to be called optimal, the lecturers have tried to learn to master the blended learning mode so that it is hoped that students can also contribute actively to the online learning phase.
