SEMINAR PROPOSAL FINAL PROJECT OF CHEMISTRY STUDY PROGRAM

The Chemistry S1 study program, FMIPA, UNY held a thesis proposal seminar for 2018 students on Monday, January 10, 2022. The proposal seminar was held online via a zoom cloud meeting. The seminar was opened by the coordinator of the Chemical S1 study program who also serves as the head of the chemistry education department, FMIPA, UNY, namely Dr. Retno Arianingrum. After the event was opened, it was followed by presentations by students according to their respective majors, namely organic chemistry and biochemistry as many as 28 students, inorganic chemistry as many as 31 students, physical chemistry 17 students, and analytical chemistry 22 students. The total number of students who took part in this proposal seminar was 98 students.

This porposal seminar activity is one of the efforts to monitor and accelerate the preparation and implementation of student thesis. Each student presented a thesis proposal to 9 discussion teams who had been determined by the thesis coordinator, namely Dr. Retno Arianingrum into 5 research areas. All students are very enthusiastic in participating in this activity because they can get input for carrying out their research in the future.
