Visitation of Internal Quality Audit of Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA UNY 2021

Visitation of Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA, UNY was conducted on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 13.00 WIB until completed online via Zoom Meeting. The UNY Chemistry Study Program was visited by two UNY internal auditors, namely Dr. Marita Ahdiyana, S.I.P., M.Sc. and Muniya Alteza, S.E., M.Sc. As an auditee, this visitation activity was attended by the Coordinator of the Chemistry Study Program, Dr. Retno Arianingrum, Secretary of the Department of Chemistry Education Erfan Priyambodo, M.Sc., and the Quality Assurance Group for Chemistry Study Program, Dewi Yuanita Lestari, M.Sc.

According to the auditors, filling out the instrument forms is very good, various documents are complete, but there are several things that need to be confirmed as well as several opportunities for improvement that need to be improved. These include the following.

  1. There are no documents for reviewing academic guidelines, Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), and determining the level of depth and breadth of learning materials that are carried out regularly. Supporting documents can be in the form of meeting invitations and meeting minutes.
  2. The number of lecturers conducting academic guidance at least 4 times in one semester needs to be presented with specific evidence documents. Even though these activities have been going well, the frequency and distribution still need to be increased for all academic supervisors.
  3. Tracer study reports for users of chemical studies program graduates also need to be completed.
  4. The number of lecturers attending training at least 2x in 1 year needs to be documented.
  5. It is necessary to increase the number of lecturers who develop learning materials based on Community Service (PkM).
  6. Based on the results of the desk evaluation, it appears that the lecturers of the chemistry study program, FMIPA UNY, tend to choose the publication route in international journals or seminars rather than national/regional seminars/journals or writing in local/national and international mass media. This can be seen from the data on the high publication of chemistry study program lecturers in international journals and seminars.
  7. Although the cooperation between the Chemistry study program and foreign agencies has been going well, there have been no PkM activities that have been carried out with the help of foreign funds. This is an improvement opportunity for the chemical study program to improve the quality of PkM.

Through internal audit activities that have been carried out, it is hoped that the Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA UNY, can improve its quality so that it can have implications for increasing the quality of graduates.
