Dayu Arinda and B. Narayani, Undergraduate Chemistry Students, The Winners of Student Exchange Scholarships to Europe

IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Award) is an Indonesian Government scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian student mobility programmes to overseas universities. The IISMA scholarship covers registration and tuition fees, health insurance, living allowance, flight and visa costs. To be eligible for the program, students must meet academic requirements, namely a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 and English language requirements as evidenced by a TOEFL iBT score (minimum 78 for undergraduate and 60 for vocational), IELTS (minimum 6.0), Duolingo English Test (minimum 100 for undergraduate and 95 for vocational), or TOEIC (minimum 605 for vocational).
Two students of the S1 Chemistry study programme passed the IISMA programme selection after participating in a rigorous national selection process. The students are Dayu Arinda and B. Narayani who are undergraduate Chemistry students class of 2020. Dayu Arinda received an IISMA scholarship to the Netherlands and had the opportunity to study at Maastricht University. Meanwhile, B. Narayani had the opportunity to experience education at the University of Galway, Ireland.
The IISMA program is expected to increase Indonesian students' understanding of international academic and cultural diversity. In addition, students can also develop international networks and develop skills for the future by utilising the best opportunities to prepare themselves to become global leaders.
