To realize the ideals of Chemistry Study Program to become an international Study Program, visiting professor activities will be conducted. On this occasion the Chemistry Study Program invited Prof. Dr. Aziz bin Hassan (Polymer Chemistry) and Assoc. Prof. Hairul Anwar Tajuddin (Organic Chemistry) from the Department of Chemistry, University of Malaya, Malaysia. This activity takes place from September 24-30, 2019.

On this occasion, the two speakers gave material to students about lectures at the University of Malaya, topics on polymer and organic chemistry, as well as current research related to both topics. In addition, a brainstorming session was held with UNY Chemical Study Program academic staff on the possibility of collaborative research, student exchanges, lecturers, and cooperation related to international publications.
