The Socialization of the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) for the Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA, UNY was held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, online via a zoom cloud meeting. The socialization activity was not only attended by lecturers majoring in chemistry education but was also attended by educational staff including laboratory assistants, technicians, to admins. In this socialization activity, the head of the Department of Chemistry Education, Dr. Retno Arianingrum, who is also the head of the PKKM taskforce in 2021, explained the activities and sub-activities to be held. Dr. Retno Arianingrum requested the participation of lecturers and education staff in the chemical education department to be involved in all activities so that they can be carried out properly according to the plan.

There are 4 proposed activities so that they are expected to have a direct impact on the chemical study program. These activities include:

1. Improving the quality of chemistry study program graduates. These activities include: (a) strengthening alumni networks; (b) chemical instrument training for students; (c) smart preneurship program; (d) scholar funding program.
2. Improving the quality of education. These activities consist of: (a) domestic credit transfer program; (b) student competition coaching; (c) industrial internships; (d) entrepreneurial internships; (e) inbound visiting professors; (f) practicing visiting lecturers; (g) innovative learning grants; (h) improvement of laboratory facilities and infrastructure; and (i) improvement of learning facilities.
3. Human resource development (lecturers and education staff) which includes: (a) visiting professor outbound; (b) domestic twin lecturer program; (c) PPM application of lecturer research results; (d) writing of textbooks/references; (e) non-degree training for lecturers and technicians.
4. Study program development. These activities include: (a) calibration of chemical measuring instruments; (b) increasing the involvement of lecturers in chemist associations; (c) facilitation of review of IJCE study study journals; and (d) initiation of the establishment of the Master of Chemistry study program.

The socialization activity was continued by Prof. Dr. Sri Atun regarding the Term of Reference (TOR) of Innovative Learning Grant (ILG) activities, PPM on the Application of Research Results, and Writing of Textbooks/References. In ILG activities, basically all lecturers are given the opportunity to group and compete in designing and implementing participatory and collaborative lecture activities through 2 grant schemes, namely: (a) case-based lectures and (b) team-based project-based lectures. The courses submitted for this ILG activity must be subjects that are in the curriculum of the chemistry study program and are in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

As for the PPM application of lecturer research results, all lecturers are required to participate by forming groups of at least 5 lecturers. Each lecturer is also required to involve students in the implementation of their activities. As for the research that will be used as material for PPM, there is no time limit, meaning that research results are allowed at any time as long as they produce appropriate technology.

Furthermore, related to grants for writing textbooks/references, there are 5 grants on the basis of KBK. Even though the basis is KBK, it is hoped that the competition will still be held. The expected output of this grant activity is a book with an ISBN with the goal of collaboration with UNY Press.

Hopefully all activities can be carried out well so that they can contribute to the achievement of the Main Higher Education Performance Indicators which have implications for improving the quality of graduates, providing education, human resources, and the chemistry study program of FMIPA UNY.
