The Undergraduate Chemistry Programme of FMIPA UNY has been accredited as Excellent by the Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences Self-Accreditation Agency (LAMSAMA). This accreditation status and accreditation rating is valid from 29 September 2022 to 30 September 2025. 

It is well known that the Undergraduate Chemistry Programme of FMIPA UNY has been internationally accredited by ASIIN from Germany.  The excellent accreditation rating from LAMSAMA obtained by the Undergraduate Chemistry programme is the accreditation rating resulting from the conversion of ASIIN international accreditation. Therefore, the validity period of the accreditation mentioned above corresponds to the validity period of ASIIN international accreditation.  With the accreditation of the S1 Chemistry FMIPA UNY study programme to Excellent, it is expected to improve the quality of learning and the quality of graduates of the Undergraduate Chemistry Programme-FMIPA UNY and able to compete on a global scale.
