The celebration event in the framework of the anniversary of the chemistry education department, FMIPA, UNY was held on Friday, October 23, 2020 in online mode via zoom cloud. The ceremony was preceded by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the head of the department, followed by a tumpeng cutting event, announcement of the winner of the competition for alumni, and a talkshow with alumni. The theme of the tasyakuran event raised was "a form of gratitude to build a spirit of achievement towards a superior generation".

Acara tasyakuran dalam rangka dies natalis jurusan pendidikan kimia, FMIPA, UNY dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 23 Oktober 2020 dengan moda daring melalui zoom cloud. Pada acara tasyakuran tersebut diawali oleh sambutan dari dekan FMIPA UNY, sambutan ketua jurusan, dilanjutkan acara potong tumpeng, pengumuman pemenang lomba untuk alumni, serta talkshow bersama alumni. Tema acara tasyakuran yang diangkat adalah “bentuk rasa syukur untuk membangun semangat berprestasi menuju generasi unggul”.

On October 21, 2020, the Department of Chemistry Education, YSU, held a FGD to prepare guidelines for the development and implementation of the cooperation program for the Chemistry study program, the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. The speaker at this FGD activity was Dr. Sri Suning Kusumawardani from Gadjah Mada University and Dr. rer.nat Senam who is a lecturer in the department of chemistry education, FMIPA, UNY who also serves as the vice rector for planning and cooperation affairs at Yogyakarta State University.

Pada tanggal 21 Oktober 2020, Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia UNY mengadakan FGD penyusunan panduan pengembangan dan implementasi program kerjasama program studi kimia kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Pemateri pada kegiatan FGD ini adalah Dr. Sri Suning Kusumawardani dari Universitas Gadjah Mada dan Dr. rer.nat Senam yang merupakan dosen jurusan pendidikan kimia, FMIPA, UNY yang sekaligus menjabat sebagai wakil rektor bidang perencanaan dan kerjasama Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.

One of the activities held by the Department of Chemistry Education, FMIPA, UNY to celebrate the 64th anniversary is by holding a special competition for alumni. Contests held for alumni include a green chemistry video competition for the community and an ICT-based chemistry learning media competition for high school / vocational high school students.

Salah satu kegiatan yang diadakan oleh jurusan Pendidikan Kimia, FMIPA, UNY untuk memeriahkan dies natalis yang ke-64 adalah dengan mengadakan lomba khusus untuk alumni. Lomba yang diadakan untuk alumni ini mencakup lomba video green chemsitry untuk masyarakat dan lomba media pembelajaran kimia berbasis TIK untuk siswa SMA/ SMK.

Webinar Series # 4 as a series of events commemorating the 64th Dies Natalis of the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, UNY, which was held on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Participants registered in this webinar were 299 people with varied backgrounds ranging from lecturers, teachers , students, researchers in the field of chemistry, etc. who come from all over Indonesia. The speaker who filled the webinar activity this time was Prof. Dr. Azlan Kamari from Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia and Prof. Dr. Endang Widjajanti from Yogyakarta State University.
