Signing of Cooperation Document between Chemistry Study Program and PT. DELTOMED
On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 the matching fund team led by Prof. Dr. Sri Atun in collaboration with DELTOMED with the title of the activity is the Development of Nanoemulsion Formula of Combined Herbal Extracts as Immunomodulators has approved and signed the cooperation document. Both parties have registered one simple patent and two brands according to the promised output. The product prototype is 100% complete. For marketing, we are still waiting for pharmacodynamic tests and acute and subchronic toxicity tests. Currently still waiting for further information from BPOM to carry out toxicity tests and make licenses to BPOM as standardized herbal medicines and then its ready to be marketed.
As for the director of DELTOMED, Mr. Viktor said that he had received a response from BPOM and was asked to complete all of the data so that the permit would be issued immediately from BPOM. As for some things that must be added, the test material must be listed qualitatively and quantitatively and does not contain prohibited ingredients. There are several notes from BPOM, including the following.
-
Reference to empirical history is not clear (it is recommended to refer to the BPOM pocket book reference).
-
Product composition to be improved according to the planned form (ingredients per one drink)
-
Attach clarification of several matters related to the production of kunysae syrup (solvent information, extraction method used, extraction time).
-
Attach information on the extraction of each raw material or simultaneously.
-
The amount of each raw material before and after extraction (from javaplant).
-
Mixtures used in production.
-
Attach information on test materials that will be used in pharmacodynamic tests, acute toxicity tests, and sub-chronic toxicity tests produced on a lab or industrial scale. (already industrial scale)
