Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Recognised The First Ranked for Student Creativity Program (PKM) Funded in 2024
The State University of Yogyakarta has made another national achievement in the Student Creativity Week (PKM). Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has successfully ranked 7th nationwide in the acquisition of PKM proposals from the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The total funding obtained amounts to Rp. 457,950,000 which covers 7 types of PKM fields. The seven fields include PKM for Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), PKM for Exact Research (PKM-RE), PKM for Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), PKM for Copyright (PKM-KC), PKM for Application of Science and Technology (PKM-PI), PKM for Scientific Work (PKM-KI), PKM for Community Service (PKM-PM) and PKM for Social Humanities Research (PKM-RSH). Out of the 62 titles obtained by UNY, 21 came from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences making FMIPA ranked 1st in the acquisition of PKM funding within UNY in 2024.
Of the 21 titles that have passed funding in the FMIPA environment, 6 (29%) came from Chemistry Study Program students. This feat is certainly a boast for the Chemistry Study Program in particular and has also proven that Chemistry Study Program students as young researchers have high creativity and innovation. This achievement certainly did contribute to the support and guidance of reliable lecturers in the Chemistry Study Program. The Chemistry Study Program, Department of Chemistry Education, FMIPA UNY congratulates and succeeds students and supervisors who have received funding for PKM in 2024.
