Preparing to enter the world of business and industry is a must for chemistry students in their top semester. Through a guest lecture held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., as many as 207 students taking Industrial Chemistry and Industrial Management courses listened to material on Operations and Production Management delivered by Mr. Mahbub Junaedi, S, Si from PT. Indochem Semesta Semarang.

Bersiap memasuki dunia usaha dan dunia industri menjadi sebuah keharusan bagi mahasiswa kimia semester atas. Melalui kuliah umum yang diselenggarakan pada hari Jumat, 5 Maret 2021 pukul 13.00, sebanyak 207 mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Kimia Industri dan Manajemen Industri menyimak materi tentang Manajemen Operasi dan Produksi yang disampaikan oleh bapak Mahbub Junaedi, S,Si dari PT. Indochem Semesta Semarang.

Lectures for the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year at Yogyakarta State University have started since February 8, 2021. The conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic that have not yet ended have made the lecture process continue to be carried out using the online method.

Perkuliahan semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021 di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta telah dimulai sejak tanggal 08 Februari 2021. Kondisi pandemi Covid 19 yang belum juga usai membuat proses perkuliahan tetap dilaksanakan dengan metode dalam jaringan (daring).

The implementation of the MBKM curriculum requires study programs to be active in improving the quality of graduates so that they are ready to be accepted in the industrial world and have the ability to create jobs. As an effort to improve the quality of graduates, study programs need to improve the quality of education delivery.

Implementasi kurikulum MBKM menuntut program studi untuk aktif dalam peningkatan kualitas lulusan agar siap diterima di dunia industri maupun memiliki kemampuan untuk menciptakan pekerjaan. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan maka program studi perlu untuk meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Sesuai dengan kebijakan universitas, pelaksanaan kurikulum MBKM di prodi Kimia FMIPA UNY, diupayakan untuk mendukung misi UNY menjadi salah satu universitas kependidikan yang diakui di dunia.

The bachelor of science in chemistry study program held a curriculum review of Freedom to Learn - Independent Campus program that had been compiled and developed by the UNY Chemistry Study Program curriculum team on Friday, 18 December 2020 through a zoom cloud meeting. This curriculum review activity was carried out by presenting the results of the review using instruments prepared by the faculty with Prof. Edy Cahyono from UNNES Chemistry study program as an external reviewer and Prof. Dr. Endang Widjajanti, LFX from the UNY chemistry study program as an internal reviewer.

Program studi kimia mengadakan kegiatan review Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang telah disusun dan dikembangkan oleh tim kurikulum prodi S1 Kimia UNY pada hari Jumat, 18 Desember 2020 melalui zoom cloud meeting. Kegiatan review kurikulum ini dilakukan dengan pemaparan hasil review menggunakan instrumen yang sudah disiapkan oleh fakultas dengan nara sumber Prof. Edy Cahyono dari prodi Kimia UNNES sebagai reviewer eksternal dan Prof. Dr. Endang Widjajanti, LFX dari prodi kimia UNY sebagai reviewer internal.

The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry study programme, FMIPA, UNY held a student thesis proposal seminar for fourth year students on Friday, December 11, 2020. The proposal seminar was conducted online through a zoom cloud meeting. The seminar was opened by the coordinator of the programme who is also the chairman of the chemistry education department , FMIPA, UNY, namely Dr. Retno Arianingrum.
